(CENTENNIAL) – US Senate candidate Jane Norton today offered another alternative proposal to President Barack Obama’s government healthcare takeover: allowing interstate sale of health insurance as an alternative to the so-called “public option.”

“Appointed Senator Bennet and others continually mention the importance of competition in bringing down healthcare costs, but they ignore the simplest answer to that question,” commented Norton. “The government can’t create competition, it can only allow or restrict it.
